Hi, looking for some help, we are testing an ATA 191 device and have a unique situation. We use a network monitoring tool to track the status of our circuits here. When the circuits aren't reachable the network monitoring tool tells our phone/modem to automatically call a local pager service phone number and then put in a 6-digit code to let our engineers know when a system goes down. This solution has worked for us for years with the ATA and with regular phone lines but now our phone line infrastructure is being upgraded to VoIP connections. We are testing an ATA 191 Cisco device with the VoIP lines but aren't getting the pages on our pager system like we should with the ATA. For some reason, we can get the phone to dial the pager service number but when its time to put the extension in it seems to be ignoring the digits we press. I can hear the tones being pressed but its likes it's not really entering anything. Sometimes we will get pager messages back but it won't be the digits we pressed on the phone at all just a random digit or two. Is there a setting in the ATA that can be changed to fix this? I've googled and seen some people mentioning DTMF might be set wrong. I'm not the individual who will be changing the options inside the ATA but I'm asking the question and then I can hopefully relay the information to our phone networking team to make the changes. Looking for some pointers.
