The Users of CCM 4.2 are Extension Mobility Users and they use their mobile phone when not in the office.
The issue here is that the Receptionist manning the Attendant Console has no visibility if the User is busy on their mobile or not. My assumption is that the only way the Receptionist can know if the line she is dialing is busy is if the Mobile Service Provider feeds back via signaling (QSIG?) to the CallManager and the CallManager software can interpret this information and allows it to appear on the screen.
Any ideas? Have you encounter this issue and what was the fix?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Maddox

haven't tried it myself but the theory sounds good, it's almost the same as with the call back feature. for PSTN numbers you would need to have QSIG to have the phone status and the notification when one call is finished so you get the softkey to dial immediately
not sure if someone has implemented this but i'd like to hear if so how it was done

Yes , indeed is like the call back feature. Unfortunately I still don't have an answer yet to forward it to you.
Also, I hope someone from this forum will give us a solution.
