Barge on VG248 ?

Hi,

I want to listen or participate to a analog conversation on VG248 port with a share line on the supervisor phone model 7962.

I have UCM 7.1.5. Anybody have a idea how I can configure the VG and phone to do this?

I don't recall the VG248 supporting Barge so you would need to add the cBarge softkey. Beyond that it's just a matter of turning Privacy off on the line appearence. Here's the document for your version: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/7_1_2/ccmfeat/fsbarge.html

I ran into the same issue on a vg224 and the cbarge solution works with on caveat, privacy is not an option you can turn on and off at the device or line level on the VG units. If you have privacy false for the cluster then that default value does get pushed to calls on the VG analog lines and cbarge works fine. If your cluster has privacy turned on (which is the initial setting) then you can’t barge in on VG analog lines.
