Hi,
We have external department in our company with ext range 3(0-2)XX and operator for this range is 3100.
I have mapped one PSTN line to the 3100 and i need to setup
If someone calling through the outside via PSTN it should route to the CUC call handler
option one - dial by extension
option two - contact operator
Calls from internal (5XXX and 6XXX) ... should route normal
Any idea to how to implement this.
CUCM 8.6
CUC 8X
Thanks

Create a Directory number with a CFA to the UnityConnection HP
On the Unity connection create a call handler where the directory number from CM is used to access it (extension)
Add a prompt/ transfer to something
See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rrtDYBVmB8
Call Handlers are very power full, but not that easy to understand/configure

I have created CTI route point and call handler with 5566.
now i'm able to dial and use call handler from internal extensions but I mapped to PSTN number for 5566 and called from out side. it disconnected with busy.
PSTN number is worked with any other physical phone ext.
and I create Directory number 5577 and mapped pstn to it and forward all calls to 5566
same result.
Any idea please.
Thanks.
