Basic third party SIP Device with capability of two lines

Hi,

I have a SIP phone with two lines.

I'm thinking of registering it on a CUCM as a Basic Third Party SIP Device as I don't need to use both lines.

One line would be enough for me.


Would this would work on a CUCM 7.1?

A basic 3rd-party SIP device can only support one line.  If you need more than that, you have to configure an Advanced 3rd-Party SIP device which supports up to 6 lines.  Both are possible with 7x.  Here is how you do the basic setup...advanced is pretty much the same:
