Hi,
Cisco describes the Callmanager Business Edition 5000 has having an upper limit of 500 "users". Does anyone know what that limit actually refers to in terms of actual objects configured? It doesn't appear to enforce a hard limit on users as in "end users" in the directory, nor on configured extensions.
Thanks,
Tony S

There is no actual software enforcement, it is support that will not be provided in case you go beyond that and call TAC.

Cheers, I was pretty sure that was the case given that I have seen installs with more than 500 extensions working. Do you know what the limit is actually supposed to apply to? For example if it means extensions they why not say so, instead of "users". Or do you think it means extensions less public space devices?

As I said this is support limit of phones, there is also a limit of how many remote sites can existing on the system. The system was architected to support this many phones/sites and still perform within acceptable boundaries.
HTH,
Chris
