We have 7965’s for our admins. They have BLF’s for the executives they are responsible for. The issue I am experiencing is when an executive receives a call, the BLF alerts the admin…if the admin is not staring at the phone they cannot determine if the executive is on the phone or not.
Before the call is received, the light is dark or red to indentify the state of the executive phone and amber when ringing.
Executive is on the phone. BLF is red on admin phone; however, admin does not know the state of the executive phone as she is looking away from phone.
Second call is received to executive phone. Admin phone shows amber light with pulsating icon…
….no indication as to whether the executive is on the line or not….
Admin does not know whether to answer immediately due to existing executive call or wait for executive to answer.
