Blind transfer always fails

hariskar

Level 1

I can xfer a call to an internal number of my office (**621) without problems, but blind transfer to the same phone always fails. During dialing of the same internal number display shows "Transfer failed".

I have 2 cisco phones spa303 and spa504G. Blind transfer fails to both directions.

Do I have to change some settings?

Blind Transfer Serv is enabled. I have 1 line enabled in each phone.

Any help?

Than you!

Whats the call control server you are using?

Is the Blind transfer service enabled on the server?

What the error messaging coming from the server when you do a blind transfer?

Thanks.

All phones are on Fritzbox 7590.

As far as I know, there is no option to enable/disable blind calls on Fritzbox.

There are no relevant messages in Fritzbox log.

Thank you for reply!

So when the transfer fails there is no incoming SIP message from the server?

I don''t see this kind of messages in Fritzbox log. In Telephony log there is only 1 message which is irrelevant:

Internet telephony with grafeio1 via 192.168.1.10:10150 failed. Cause: Temporarily not available (480) [2 messages since 24.05.19 08:04:25]

Edit: I think I found a way to see hidden  SIP messages, when I'll go to work I will see them and post.
Thank you!

Take a look at the phone logs as well to see if you can get a clue in that.

I will when I return to work. Till then could you please make some assumptions? Some possible causes?

Blind transfer is what I need more from IP phones..

I can't really say much without seeing the messaging. I would think the blind transfer service on the server is disabled.

In that case you would be getting a 403 to the REFER from the server.

Thanks.

Here is the syslog of the phone. I cleared just before bxfer. I hope this helps. I also attach the log of Fritzbox:
