Hi there.
I am looking for guidance on how to block calls to a specific number on CUCM 10.6
Basically I want to block anyone from calling a specific landline number.
How would I go about doing that?
Standard stuff, We dial 0 for an outside line and we are based in Australia with the AU dial plan loaded.
Thanks

Hello Simon,
The easiest way to do it is to create a Route Pattern on the CUCM for this specific number and on the Route Option check "Block this Pattern", example below
Just make sure that the Route Pattern is set on the correct Partition

Hi,
As George mentioned, you can use a route pattern to block any PSTN calling. But my preferred way of blocking a single or range of number is Translation pattern[Call Routing >> Translation Pattern]. But its all up to you how do you want to achieve it.
Ensure that the route partition of the Route pattern or Translation pattern is listed n the calling device/DN CSS.
