blocking outgoing calls

How do I block outbound calls from happening?  Version 7.1.3 CUCM. These extensions are non DID phone numbers.  But could in the future be DID numbers.  Do I do it with a specific calling search space?

Are you referring to blocking calls to specific number or blocking calls from specific phones/DNs?

If the first you do this via building explicit blocking route patterns or transaltion patterns.

If the second you apply CSS to the phone or DN that does not have access to specific outbound partitions.

These are phones that we dont want to call outside the building.

I think I have a partition that stipulates just internal calls.

parition assigned to phone's DN controls who/which devices can reach the line.

CSS is what controls where the phone/DN can call.
