Hi

I have MCS server 7816I5 , i have iso image for 8.6.2.22900 , i want to boot ISO on  the MCS server by USB/external hard disk becasue the image size is exceeded 4.48 and the DVD size is 4.35 so i cant copy the image on DVD

so there is way to solve this issue , or workaround ?

Have you tried copying the ISO image to a dual layer DVD? Dual layer DVDs can be up to 8.5GB. The DVD drive on the 7815 should be able to read this with no problem.

Hi,

I think the exact server model is MCS 7816-I5-K9-CMD2.

You can open a TAC case with Cisco .Cisco will open SR with IBM and take help from IBM so as to avoid any violation of warranty issues.
