Building a remote user using the Floating Extension
My customer has a UC560 in Orlando Fl and they want the ability to create an extension [phantom] and forward to his cell phone in Tampa where he will work from home.
Added a Floating Extension, 199 and in the CFW field entered 9 + the cell number.
when I dialed the main number and heard the AA grtg, I dialed 199 [FE] and I get a message "Mail Service has not been established" then it will say please enter the number now. when I enter the phone number it works.
Quest 1: Is there a way that if I dial the FE 199 in the main grtg that it will forward directly to that cell number?
Quest 2: If the receptionist answers the calls live during business hours and transfer the caller to 199, will it work or will she also get the "Message"?
