Bulk Administration Tool - Access to the requested resource has been denied.

Attempting to Update the Calling Search Space using either a Query or Custom File.

The job appears in Job scheduler as "InComplete"

Clicking Start Processing or Stop Processing produces the following error -

Access to the requested resource has been denied.

The attempted action was a violation of security protocols and will not be allowed. Please try another action.

  • Logged in with Super User account


  • Activated Services -- Cisco Administrative XML Layer (AXL) Web Service // Cisco Bulk Provisioning Service // Cisco Tool for Auto-Registered Phones Support (TAPS) Service.


  • Logged into Publisher after server was reset to run this BAT processing.


  • Running CUCM 8.6.2 on VMware


  • Any assistance on resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen this issue a number of times with version 8.6.2.22900-9   it happens typically when I want to cancel a job, I tend to ignore it, as when I force a job or cancel a job.  It will echo the error message as you indicated. but it has in fact cancelled/forced the job any way.

Thank you for your response, but then I still have the problem of having the Job remain as InComplete.  I am using a simple of test of update just the CSS for one found record.  This will not complete even with stop and start of job processing.
