Bulk delete ITL file

Hello

We have two Callmanager clusters.  Both of them is running version 8.5.1.  Let say cluster A has 15 remoote sites and cluster B has 4 remote sites with a total of about 200 7965 phones.  I want to move these 4 remote offices from cluster B to Cluster A, then decommission cluster B.  From CM version Cisco introduce a security reature and install a ITL file on each phone.  In order to move those 200 phone to cluster A, the ITL file must be deleted.  Is there a way we could bulk delete this file?

Thanks

Mark

Hi,

The best solution for managing ITL Files (including bulk delete of ITL files remotely) is PhoneView from UnifiedFX, it has the ability to detect, report and if required remotely delete ITL Files. In-fact you can do pretty much anything remotely in just a few mouse clicks using PhoneView.

You can download the free version that works with up to 50 phones for testing and lab use here:

I've included a video that shows you how can bulk delete multiple ITL Files remotely:

Thanks

Mr Aaron Long time sir Hope you are well...

Mark,

You dont have to worry about deleting ITL files..

You dont have to worry about deleting ITL files, you can consolidate certificates between clusters as long as both clusters are online at the same time, so that the phone certs can be trusted by their new cluster. This another way to go about this. The section "Bulk Certificate Export" in the document Aaron referred you to has the details. The thread below also discussed this and how you can consolidate the certs
