Call Back with speaker disabled on 8851

I have a customer who is experiencing and issue with disabled speaker phone on 8851.

If you set the phone to “Call Back” for a person who is busy, when you receive the call back, the phone automatically goes to the speaker phone.

From an old Cisco FAQ it mentioned that the call back button would be grayed out if speaker is disabled.

Hello John,

Is phone connected to CME or CUCM and what is the version?

What is firmware used on 8851 phone?

CUCM 11.5.1.10000-6.

Phone firmware: sip88xx.11-5-1-18

John,

I made a repro and indeed issue is observed with sip88xx.11-5-1-18 firmware. Looks like behavior is similar to CSCva22624 defect.

With the 11-7-1-17 firmware issue is not there and Dial button is grayed out as expected when speaker is disabled.
