Call forward not working // Cisco -->Alcatel(extA) --cfwall-->Alcatel(extB)

Hi,

I have SIP trunk between Alcatel PBX and Cisco Callmanager. The calls are working in both direction.

But when Alcatel extension made a call forward all to another Alcatel extension and call is made from Cisco the call is not working. I am getting the system message "your call can not be completed"

CUCM version 10.5.2

Alcatel version 10.1

When i check traces i am getting the below error:

SIP/2.0 302 Moved Temporarily

On the SIP Profile, Redirect by application is already checked, and sip trunk has the reroute calling search space selected also.

Below is the SIP message:

Are you able to dial 854824 from Cisco phone directly ? If yes, then...

Have you defined all node's (Alcatel call manager)  IP addresses under destination of SIP trunk in CUCM ?

Check logical partitioning in alcatel, may be someone set incorrectly.

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

Thanks for your response.

I can dial that extension directly. Alcatel has a virtual IP address and that IP address i have configured in SIP trunk. And i am getting the ' Contact: <sip:854824@<<alcatel ip>>' . This IP i have configured under SIP trunk.

After CUCM get the contact information of the forwaded station, cucm should send an invite message to that station, but i could not find that in the trace.

Shakkir

Hi Shakkir,

Does the same call forwarding working fine when called from external number ?

It looks like it is not able to find a route to the forwarded number 854 824 and returns error  .

"07017607.009 |12:55:18.949 |AppInfo  |CMSIPUtility: isIPAddrOrHostInMyCluster no match found for <<alcatel ip>> in the cluster host/ip cache"

Can you attach full trace.

Hi Deepak,

If you call from PSTN to Alcatel PBX, yes the call forward is working.

There is route pattern available to route the call, and i can directly call the extension 854 824 and it is working.

Attached the complete trace file for your info.

calling number 863484
called number 825997
forwarded number 854824

Thanks, can you confirm if forwarded alcatel number is   854824 is going out via another GW ?

what are these three ip addresses

10.37.172.11 and 10.250.77.241, 10.32.248.88.

thanks

No. we have only one trunk between alcatel and cucm and its taking the same trunk.

10.37.172.11 - cucm ip

10.250.77.241 - phone ip

10.32.248.88 - alcatel pbx ip

Dear, can you try one thing to test for time while..just remove virtual IP address from sip trunk and put actual IP address of active Alcatel call manager and attach logs again if still issue persists.

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

Changed to the real IP and still not working. Getting busy tone now.

Attached logs.

calling number 863484
called number 825997
forwarded number 854824

real ip address is : 10.32.248.87

Thanks for your support.

Hi Hudaifa,

Have you kept forward all at Alcatel ext ? As this time it didn't get redirect message and even ext 854824 is not reflecting in logs.

Can you try it again, hope you have reset the sip trunk.

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

Call forward has been set at alcatel side. Please find the attached logs again. Trunk also has been reset.

Thanks, what i see in the logs attached.

302 temp moved message which provids the info to CUCM that address has been moved and to contact the user on new address-

SIP/2.0 302 Moved Temporarily

Contact: <sip:854824@10.32.248.88;user=phone>

Then we see CUCM sending invite to another destination 852200 not to the actaul forwarding station. Can you cross check config for 854824 in Alcatel to see if any forwarding is enabled or shared line which has forwarding?
