call forward outside

Hi

one of customers wants the out of hours calls to be forwarded to a mobile number after couple of ring on the hunt group.

so i used the HUNT command to achive this.

ephone-dn 1 dual-line

number 02031234567  --------------> main number

call-forward all 815 -----------------> AA access number

voice hunt-group 2 parallel

final 07584758438

list 251,400

timeout 5

pilot 5080

and assign the 5080 TO after hours redirect number. here i'm using a cue script for AA.

so when i dial 815 from ipphone it goes to 5080 and so on, and works fine.

problem is when the call comes from outside, it just ring the hunt group and not forwarding to mobile.

any suggestions

thanks

What happens if you dial 5080

At least that will prove if the pilot rules are working.

Also in the pilot rules you are using

final 07584758438

Is this how you make calls to mobile ?

In the UK we need to use a 9 to access the outside line.

So my final needs to be

final 907584758438

Hi Alex

Thanks for you reply

we not using 9 for dial out

see the dial-peer

dial-peer voice 10 voip

description UK LANDLINE AND MOBILE PHONES

destination-pattern 0[1-37]T

session protocol sipv2

session target ipv4:93.94.111.88

incoming called-number .T

dtmf-relay rtp-nte

codec g711ulaw

no vad

so normally we dial without 9

well, when i dial 5080, it works fine, first ring those two 251,400 extension then after 5 seconds it rings the mobile.

also when i dial 815 (auto attend access no) from an ipphone. then also it works fine and final call comes to the mobile.

so the configuration working fine.

But if i dial the main number 02031234567 - then i can see it hits 815 (ok) then rings both hunt ext (ok), then the call drops, it wont dial the final number. strange???

any clue

Shameer,

Then this looks like the call comes in on may be an PRI/BRI/FXO and is NOT allowed to be forwarded back out of the trunk.

Can we see your full config (hide the passwords as required)

Hi Shameer,

I'm just going to add one note to the excellent tips from Alex (+5"A")

To allow external transfers (including PSTN locations and extensions at other sites), configure the system AA to allow these transfers (set the value of the allowExternalTransfers parameter). If you plan to use the "centralized" AA scenario described in this section, it is recommended that you write a custom AA script to control which destination numbers may be allowed as transfer destinations from the AA (this is to contain possibilities of misusing your AA for toll fraud purposes).
