Hi,
I have configured 4 Cisco Phones, with the Call Forward Unregistered Internal and Call Forward Unregistered External feauture, as follows:
PhoneA - Directory Number 8000 ; CFU: 8001 (Status in the CUCM is unregistered)
PhoneB - Directory Number 8001 ; CFU: 8002 (Status in the CUCM is unregistered)
PhoneC - Directory Number 8002 ; CFU: 8003 (Status in the CUCM is unregistered)
PhoneD - Directory Number 8003 ; CFU: 8000 (Status in the CUCM is registered)
When I call to directory number 8000 the message of CUCM say than extension is unavailable, How I can solve the problem?
(When the second hop is a phone registered the CFU works, if the second phone is unregistered the CFU don´t work).
*CFU=Call Forward Unregistered. Platform: CUCMv8.

Hi
What value do you have in "Forward Maximum Hop Count" in service parameter. Increase it to maximum hop you want to reach and it will resove your issue.

Hi,
I have tested it in my lab and it is working. No idea why is it behaving wrongly in your setup. Let me see if any bug is there.
Please let me know what is your exact CUCM release.
