Hi

We have 2 CUCM cluster connecting over ICT trunk (non-gatekeeper). One cluster on version 6 (1 pub, 1 sub) and another is version 9 (1pub, 2 subs).

There are 2 issues recently arised:

Issue 1 - DN 8989 on V6 Cluster called DN 2308 on V9 Cluster experiencing fast busytone.

Issue 2 - DN 2308 on V9 Cluster called DN 8989 on V6 Cluster experiencing ringback tone is heard even after the call is answered, no RTP established. This is intermittent issue, probably 1 out every 6 calls.

i have attached ccm traces from both cluster.

example call:

15:17 - 15:19 >>  x2308 (v9) called x8989 (v6)

Any idea?

I see a call from 2308 to 8989 disconnected with the cause code (41), to RouteListControl because all devices are busy/stopped. RouteListName : RL-Brisbane-PSTN, Reason=41, RouteGroups(RG-Brisbane).

It will most probably work if you assign the trunk directly to the Route Pattern instead of Route List

it is something a weird issue in CUCM 8.X and 9.X versions.

Hi sureshrub2

Thx for your inform.

We can see h225 is exchanged but none h245 TCS,OLC,Master_Slave determination and as such call failed.

We end up open a TAC but no progress as yet.

I am also awaiting cisco to confirmed whether bug ID CSCtq10477 is apply to our case or not.

Cheers

Fei

Hi All

issue is resolved after implement SIP trunk. TAC could not reveal RCA as CUCM 6 is no longer under support.
