In my company there are two buildings on the same LAN. We have two types of Cisco Ip phones 7965 and 6941.In the first building both types of phones are working fine, but problem is in the second building IP phone 7965 call logs (missed, place, received calls) are not displaying. There is no firewall only switch between two building.

We had taken few steps:

1) Change the IP Phone

2) Delete and reconfigured Ip phone.

But problem is still there. Anyone can tell me the solution?

Regars,

Waqas

Hi,

Just check the building 2 IP Phones are taking the same subnet address as building 1 phones. We had similar issue, and we forced the vlan entry in IP Phone though CDP is enabled, which resolved the problem.

Thank you

problemchild27 @ only cisco swithes ..How we can assign TFTP IP addreess to cisco IP PHone 7965 manually.?

Hi,

In order to set a tftp you need to unlock the ip phone network settings, and manually assign the ip settings. Please refer to the following document:
