You can easily find them at cisco.com, theres a support option which has, both, downloads and documentation. Go to each one and just browse thru the voice options to find them, or simply search cucm upgrade guide.

Re: Call Manager 8.5.1 to 8.6.3

Jacob,

Be sure to pay close attention to your hardware configuration and it's compatibility to 8.6. 7825H3s are especially fun.

Don't forget the COP File.

Hi Jacob, The Unified Communications Manager / Cisco Unity Connection update is the 1.

Cause Cisco Unified Communcation Manager and Cisco Unity Connection is using the same source.

Hi, sorry to be a bother.  This is my first upgrade.

Isn't this supposed to be a .cop file?  The one in the link is an .iso.

Re: Call Manager 8.5.1 to 8.6.3

Jacob,

Since this is your first upgrade you should read The upgrade guide in detail. In all actuality anytime you doing upgrade you should read the guide just in case something new had been added or in case you missed something previously.
You can start here www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/rel_notes/8_6_1/cucm-rel_notes-861.html#wp1996609
But all you really have to do is Google call manager 8.6 upgrade.

There are two files you will need. One is a COP and another is an ISO. The COP file gets the call manager ready for a major upgrade. The ISO contains the software to upgrade.

Have a good test plan that covers every feature you utilize for after the upgrade. You should review this plan with a senior engineer or someone that is a power user of the phone system.
I recommend running through it before the upgrade to make sure something not working was not a result of the upgrade.

After you're done with the upgrade he will want to make sure the phones have the correct firmware load.
Check registration of everything. Check replication, reporting and alerts.

Just have a thorough checklist/plan.

Best of luck.

You also need to review the release notes, the new and changed info, along with the upgrade guide.

Not to mention the HW compatibility guide as well.
