Call Manager Express migration to PSTN GW

Hi!

We are going to migrate a Call Manager Express router to become a regular remote PSTN GW with the phones registering to a central CUCM instead. CUCM version is 7.1.3. What is the best way to collect the date i.e phones data ect that is to be uploaded to the CUCM?

The information you need should be in the router config file.

1. Configure a TFTP server on your PC
2. Telnet to the CME router
3. Use the "copy star tftp" command to copy the config to your PC
4. Open with a text editor and then use the ephone, ephone-dn, ephone-hunt commands etc. to create devices on CUCM (either via ccmadmin or by using BAT
