Call Manager Publisher fall down

hi everybody,

i have a request, we have a publisher and subscriber until yesterday all worked well, but today the publisher fall donwn, appears this message:

/partB: 11/1726228 files (9.1%)blocks FAIL

"An error occurred during the file system check."

"Dropping you to a shell; the system will reboot."

"when you leave the shell."

For that reason in this moment, it is works the subscriber, my questions is how to convert this susbscriber in publisher?, i am thinking in this solution first convert the susbscriber in publisher and then recovery the backup and the publisher now will be susbscriber, it is right?.

If someone have a better idea please explain it, thanks in advance.

Hi,

Unfortunately no version of CallManager allows you to promote a Subscriber to a Publisher.

My recommendation would be to log a TAC case with Cisco to see if there is any way of recovering the Publisher. If there is not then you will need to rebuild the Publisher using the original disks, apply any patches and then restore the CallManager system from a backup.
