Call Pickup Group notification enhancements

Dear community, 

 

We are working with CUCM 11.5.1 and Cisco IP Phones 8800 series. 

We would like to be able to configure customizable Audio alerts, meaning the audio files being played by the phones when there is a call waiting to be picked up in the Call Pickup Group, per Call Pickup Group. We would also like to be able to configure the time the audible alerts are being played out by the phone, like for example 5s, 10s, or any time parameter. 

As an addition to the above, we would also like for the audio-visual notification to bring the 8800 series phone display on from idle. 

We are aware that there is a possibility to configure the Call Back Notification Audio File Name parameter in Service Parameters, for changing the audio file and the time it is played by modifying it in audio software, such as Audacity, but this is global, for all Call Pickup Groups, and not per Call Pickup Group. 

 

Any thoughts, if Cisco had been already thinking on expanding the capabilities of the Call Pickup feature?

Roadmap is NDA, if you wish this idea to be considered, you need to submit a PER via your AM, long with the business case for it.
