Dear There,

recently, I met a strange call routing problem when I use Route Groups and Route List.

I'd lik to deploy a CUCM Cluster as a below

- 6 Call Managers , 3 Call Mager Groups, 4 Voice GW, 4 Route Groups and 2 Route Lists.

[6 Call Managers - located 2 different areas ]

- 100.100.1.101 , 100.100.1.102, 100.100.1.103 and 100.100.1.104

- 100.100.17.101 and 100.100.17.102

[3 Call Manager Groups]

CM Group A [ For HQ Phones]

- 100.100.17.101

- 100.100.17.102

- 100.100.1.103

CM Group B [ For Branches Phones]

- 100.100.1.102

- 100.100.1.103

- 100.100.17.102

CM Group C [ For Call Center Phones]

- 100.100.1.103

- 100.100.17.102

[4 VGs, Route Groups and Route Lists]

- 4 VGs : 100.100.1.115 , 100.100.1.116 and these VGs are registed in CM Group B

100.100.17.115, 100.100.1.116 and these VGs are registed in CM Group A

- 4 RGs : RG_100.100.1.115 , RG_100.100.1.116, RG_100.100.17.115 and RG_100.100.17.116

- 2 RLs : RL_HQ and RL_BR

RL_HQ : RG_100.100.17.115, RG_100.100.17.116

RL_BR : RG_100.100.1.115

At the moment, A Phone that is registed in CM Group C, try to PSTN call and is pointing to RL_BR, which is registed in CM Group B and include VG 100.100.1.115.

In case of this, PSTN call cannot be working.

But When the Phone CM Group is changed int CM Group B, it works.

Could anybody give me any advice to understand why it happen?

As I said, could please add the gateway directly to route pattern and try?

Also, could you please remove and re-add the devices to RG & reassociate the RG in RL?

Use "Route on All Nodes" feature on your Route Lists/GWs/Trunks.

Hi Cris,

Thank you for your quick reply.

but unfornately, it doesn't work with "Route on All Nodes feature".

Even though any event messages aren't displayed on voice gw when I enter debug command.

Hi.
In you CM Group C, can you try to change the priority of CUCM and reset..
See if this test allows phone on DP with CUCM GROUP C can call outside.

Keep the phone in group C and instead of sending the call to Route List, can you please try sending the PSTN calls directly to the gateway (100.100.1.115) and check?

Also, can you collect the detailed CCM traces for non working Route List calls?

Hi, I have recently changed Network IP address from 100.X.X.X to 10.X.X.X So You can see network IP 10.X.X.X

Hi,

following sureshsub2's advice, I removed all GWs, RGs and RLs configuration on CUCM and then recreated all things.

after done configuration. everything's working now.

Actually the issue happened a few days ago, so I did reboot all CUCM and then issue resolved for a while.

but It happened again.

How do you think it is a pernanent solution for the issue?
