we recently migrated our Avaya telephone system to Cisco. In Avaya when we configured the call waiting, we used to get a result like following
A and B are in a call, both lines call-waiting enabled
Party C calls A, A recieves a notification beep same time C receives a long beep indicating A is in call
But the same scenario when Cisco call manager was implemented gives me like the following
A and B are in a call, both lines call-waiting enabled
Party C calls A, A gets a notificaiton beep. But C receives a Ringtone.
With this C gets a feeling that A is free.
Can we change the behaviour in Cisco?
