Called number display on IP Phone screen

Got a query more on CUCM, appreciate if anyone can suggest.

Call flow
IP PHONE(SIP 7841) - CUCM - SIP trunk - CMS server - Conference Number (8899)

Caller with Cisco IP phone dials 8899 to connect to the conference hosted on CMS server , and see display connected to 8899 on the phone screen.

User requirement is to see the called connected in +e164 format (+6565XXX899) reflected on the IP phone screen.

Is there any way to achieve it ? It more of a cosmetic requirement and changes on the CUCM.

This is more on your dial plan.

Check the calling party transformation mask and called party transformation mask in CUCM.

Login to CUCM and navigate to Call Routing > Transformation > Transformation Pattern.

Thanks for the reply.

Our currently dialing is +E164 now. But the destination number is set as 8899 on CMS server.

If we do called number transforming , it will change the called number and the call will fail.

User wants the display to be shown as +e164. However the destination number remains 8899 for successfully connecting to the CMS conference.

You need to manipulate the called number in CUCM and send it using E164
format to get it reflect on his screen because he/she is the calling part.

Thanks for the reply.

If we do the digit manipulation using called number transformation, it will change the destination number and the call will fail connecting.

User wants the display to be shown as +E164. However the destination number remains 8899 for successfully connecting to the CMS conference.

You need to do it this way. CMS need to perform manipulation or put the
+E164 number in CMS

CMS side wont recognize '+'  while creating conference number.

So just want a change on CUCM to meet this cosmetic requirement.

So that even IP phone connects to 8899 , the phone display shows connected to an +E164 number.

Is there anything other changes which can be done in CUCM ?
