Caller Id issue

Dear all,

I am facing caller id issue on FXO port can any one advice . Debug is atatched.


i have tested configuration mentioned on below mentioned link  it worked in one router but when configuring same configuration on another router the caller id is not working showing Unknow caller.

The first thing I would do is verify with your provider that they are sending clid in.  Here is what I see in the debugs:

get_fxo_caller_id:Caller ID receive failed.  parseCallerIDString:no data

This implies that either you aren't receiving clid from your provider, or there is some sort of noise on the line when the clid is being presented.  A pcm capture would verify this.

Hi,

Connect the pstn line to any of digital phone and see wheather you are recieving caller id .If you are not recieving caller id probably your service provider is not sending caller id information

let me recheck with the service provider & willg et back to you
