A customer has CM4.2 with a H.323 voice gateway for PSTN acces and Multimedia terminals with an H.323 client for telephony.
Calls from the PSTN are sent with the calling number in the H.323 setup to the H.323 client.
After an upgrade to CUCM6.0 the calling number is no longer present in the H.323 setup to the H.323 client.
Has anyone ever used CUCM6.0 and H.323 clients and was able to receive the calling number on the H.323 clients?
Any suggestions or inputs would be helpful.
Many thanks
Regards
Stefan

For H.323 gateways, perform these steps:
If the trunk is ISDN, issue the debug isdn q931 command to verify that the calling number is present in the Q.931 SETUP received from the PBX or PSTN.
If the calling party number is not present in the received SETUP, contact your Telco or PBX vendor. If the calling party number is present, further debugging is required to uncover why it is not presented to the phone.
Follow the instructions for gathering traces as described in the Setting Up Cisco CallManager Traces for Cisco Technical Support document. Search for the CallingParty= string. It should contain the calling party number.

Hi
Thanks for your reply but the problem is that the CUCM6.0 strips off the calling party number in outgoing setups to H.323 clients and CM4.2 does not.
