We happily displayed the original calling number on transfer from Cisco Unity - until we replaced our Voice Mail Ports with SIP trunks.
Any transfer from Cisco Unity is shown as caller ID "Private" now. Since notifications and filters are still working as expected, we believe that Calling Number information gets lost on their way from CUC to CUCM.
After changing Cisco Unity Connection Administration > Telephony Integrations > Port Group > Edit Advanced Settings > Remote-Party-ID: from "" <no entry> to "Unity Connection", internal devices show "Unity Connection" on transfer from Cisco Unity.
We double-checked our configuration according to https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/11x/integration/guide/cucm_sip/b_cucintcucmsip/b_cucintcucmsip_chapter_011.html and https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/unity-connection/200851-Configuration-Example-for-CUCM-non-secur.html, but unfortunately didn't find any approach concerning Calling-Number-presentation on outbound calls.
Does anyone have a hint or piece of documentation for us where we could look at?
Thank you,
Helge
