I have a CUCM 4.2 Pub/Sub setup and my client had an employee leave and they hired a replacement at the same extension.
I made all the appropriate changes to the system but now if someone tries to dial by last name the new username is not found. Dialing the old ex-employee name still works and will connect you to the new user.
There are no traces of the old username on either the pub or sub.
Am I missing something?

H there,
The relationship for AA to User is usually built in
Unity/Unity Connection/CUE not within Callmanager itself.
What are you using for VM/AA?

We're using Unity Connection. I didn't think of that angle...
