Hi,
I have noticed that under the newtork seetings for IP phones there are 5 possible callmanager options.
ccm 1..3 can be filled up by 3 subscribers in the ccm group to which the IP phone belogs to. CCM 4 can be filled by SRST refrence.
What then is the callmanager 5 option for? Is this for future use?

This should not be in use currently. Only upto 3 in a list.

you should be able to configure 2 srst references:
The system administrator can configure the SRST configuration for a device pool of phones. The following list gives configuration options that are available:
â¢Disable-If a phone cannot reach any Cisco CallManagers, it does not try to connect to an SRST gateway.
â¢Use Default Gateway-If a phone cannot reach any Cisco CallManagers, it tries to connect to its IP gateway as an SRST gateway.
â¢User-defined-If a phone cannot reach any Cisco CallManagers, it tries to connect to an administrator-specified SRST gateway. The SRST Reference field of the Device Pool Configuration lists user-defined SRST references.
