Hi all
I have installed two callmanager on vmware , all phone register to subscrber ,publisher is standby . then i create new cipc callmanger group device pool date/time group and make a testing for callmanager backup, restart subscriber but the phone can not register to publisher and i haven't sow cm2 is standby in device configuration on cipc. what question or incorrect config in callmanager ?
The callmanager release 7.1.5 and using demo license
cluster is ok between callmanager
device pool is configred applied on phones
date/time group configred
location and phsical localtion is ok
any one encountered similar problems ?

Hi
Verify that:
1) You have activated the CallManager service in 'Service Activation' on the publisher and the subscriber.
2) You have configured a CallManager Group that contains the subscriber, then the publisher. Assign this CallManager group to the device pool you are using.
3) If you are using names for the servers (in System/Servers in CCMAdmin), then ensure that the names are resolvable via DNS by the phones. Better yet, change the names (in System/Servers) to IP addresses and reset all the phones.

Hi Thanks and I resolved question.
No Dns server on network for cucm and I changed hostname to ip address .

Do you see the 2 servers under the device config in the CIPC???
