Hi

Is it possible to password protect certain calls using callmanager express

Eg client attempts to dial internationally and cannot proceed until he enters the correct password?

Hi,

I'm not sure what version of CME you are running but FAC (Force Authorisation Code) maybe the feature that you are looking for, you can find documentation on there here;

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmeadm/cmefac.pdf

Alternatively, you could change how the dial-peers work for international calls and have them prefixed with a PIN i.e. user dials 12349001234567890 - 1234 being the PIN, 9 is the offnet access code, 00 for international and 1234567890 being the DDI.

The dial-peer destination-pattern would need to be 12349.T to strip the PIN and network access code.

Hope this helps,

Richard
