Hi

What happen for the user during the upgrade from 6.1 to 6.2 for example. I want to know if the user will be affected during the upgrade? And if yes what are the problems?

Thanks

all the upgrade process takes place in the inactive partition, it can cause high cpu (and all that comes with it) but other than that users will not be aware of it

Hi

Thanks for the reply but some people are telling me that the user will not be able to do some options, like call forward and other stuff like that. It is true or the upgrade is trasparent for the users.

Thanks

there are 2 partitions, the active and the inactive. ALL the upgrade process takes place in the inactive partition (while you keep working on the active), you need to reboot and switch partitions to start using the new version
