Calls Fails

Hi All,

I am trying to set up call between PSTN -> H323 -> H323 -> CME.

When the calls hits on first h323, it should send call to second h323 gateway via IP. Then second h323 gateway will send call to cme via POTS.

Unfortunately call is not processing. Kindly help to resolve.

Check "debug voip ccapi inout' and 'debug isdn q931 on all gateway/cme and check where it is failing, or you can attach them here along with calling, called and extension no, attach sh run as well. Suresh

Please find attached configs and debugs..

Calling number is 22264988 called number is 22264981.

I haven't run debug on our main H323 gateway (which is the first gateway in the mentioned call flow) since it is in production and will have more live calls.

On h323 gateway put  command " forward-digits all" under below dial-peer.

edit...you have already translating number in cme so just do above change in h323 gateway.

Pls attach debug voip ccapi inout from h323 gateway and cme, earlier h323 gateway was sending called number as 1 to cme.

Now, we have moved one step further. Now called number is showing correctly at cme. Now, another issue is codec in h323 gateway, as call is connecting on dial peer 0 (default dial peer) in h323 gw and by default h323 gw supports g729 codec only so we need to configure one more dial peer at h323 gw as below. dial-peer voice 2 voip incoming called-number 2226498[1-2] Session target ipv4:<main h323 gw IP>

no vad

And apply voice class codec to it, and keep g711ulaw and g711alaw on top in that voice class codec, otherwise use transcoder.

Now codec negotiation is also working as required.

Is phone ringing at cme when u make call ?

It's showing connected.

Yes phone is registered but not ringing.
