We're getting reports, occasionally, that when we call from a jabber client, using a USB headset, that it's difficult for the called party to hear the calling party. These calls would go out an MGCP gateway's FXO port.
We never get complaints about being hard to hear when we call from a deskphone.
Calls internally from a Jabber client using a USB headset are fine.
The user has tried two different headsets with the same results.
The microphone slider is all the way up in Jabber.
This is on a Windows PC.
Any ideas?

Do all other sounds on the computer still sound fine? Sometimes Windows will auto-adjust volume based on other applications open. if you right click on the windows volume icon in the lower right, go to playback properties, then communications tab, you could try to set that to "Do Nothing". That's really my only thought at the moment since its intermittent based on your post.

All other sounds on the computer are fine and we have already set that setting to "Do Nothing." It seemed to have helped initially, but it has not completely fixed the problem.
