Had a caller making a 1+ call to the PSTN that didn't go through initially. I'm not sure what it did the first try, but the second try a momentary message appeared on his 7941 stating "High Network Volume" and then completed. Strange.
Does anyone know if this is network related or if it could possibly be an ISDN cause code generated by the PSTN across the PRI connected to the outbound gateway?
Thank you

Hi Chris,
I haven't seen that particular message before... Is this a CME or CUCM environment? Are you sure it didn't say "Bandwidth Unavailable", or "Network Congestion" (related to Location Bandwidth settings and AAR)?
Kind regards,
Craig

This a 7.1.3B SU2 CUCM environment and between the phone, gateway and CUCM it is all switched with Gig E links. Tough to believe that this was due to the IP network congestion. That's why I'm wonderiing if this could have been generated by the PSTN if there was an issue processing the call.
