Can Cisco 8821 wireless phones work remotely?

The 8821 works as it should when within the internal network but not remotely. I have searched but I cannot find any configuration guides on how to properly configure the 8821 wireless phone to work remotely. I have found multiple other forum posts on other model phones but not this one. Any and all assistance is much appreciate it.

If by "remotely" you mean MRA, yes, the documentation clearly states that the 8821 are NOT supported over MRA. You can deploy an ISR with wireless capabilities, to create a hard VPN and then use it over that connection.

You would need to use Officeextend to get this to work. That’s a wireless functionality, so you’re better off to post your question in a forum that fits that better.
