Can CUBE Support Multiple SIP Trunk Groups?

MICHAEL BAILEY

Hi,

My customer is planning to implement an HSRP pair of CUBEs in 2 of their data centres (2 CUBEs in each DC) to provide resilient connectivity to a SIP service provider.

The service provider is planning to provide 3 SIP trunk groups each containing 2 SIP trunks which will be terminated across both CUBE pairs. Each trunk group requires it's own IP address to terminate on.

Can CUBE support multiple SIP trunk groups, each with their own IP address?

Does each trunk group require it's own separate physical interface?

If anyone can point me towards any configuration guidelines for this type of deployment I would be grateful.

Many thanks,

Mike.

What is your IOS version? With 15.4+ you can use concept of voice-class server groups and point appropriate dial-peers to them, previous versions allowed you do build SRV records and/or use preference on dial-peers.
