Hello everyone,
I have been asked by a colleague if you can point CUCM to 2 CUC Clusters. We have a local EMEA CUCM cluster, which currently connects to a CUC cluster in EMEA.
l have been asked to create an additional CUC server in North America, all users would be configured on the EMEA CUCM cluster, with EMEA users pointing to the EMEA CUC cluster, and NA users point to the new NA CUC server.
Has anyone configured this, or is this possible?
Thanks,
James

Sure, simply create another SIP trunk or SCCP voicemail ports to new CUC cluster, new voicemail pilot and profile and assign appropriate profile to DNs that need to point to new CUC cluster.

Thanks for the feedback Chris.
Still looking into what is feasible, as this is a small site (5 users), conencting back to the EMEA cluster. In the event of WAN failure, they fallback to SRST, so looking to see what is the best solution to keep IP Phones/VM functionality.

The simplest solution is voicemail re-route under SRST via PSTN (assuming there are PSTN lines at the remote site), where calls can get to centralized voicemail via PSTN, but MWI would not work:

Alternative method is SRSV, but that has long list of caveats:
