Can CUCM retrive call treminated by Remote Destination

Current setup: CUCM ver 8.5

The CUCM is integrated with LYNC using SNR. Each extension is configured with remote destination & pointed toward Lync using SIP.

eg : extn : 1000 RD : abc@company.com. When someone calls 1000 user can either pick from phone or from LYNC.

Issue is:

When calling a number on our CISCO phone system and the recipient ignores the call from the Lync client, the caller gets the following message: “The number you have dialed is not in service”

Is this something we can stop in the Cisco Phone system? Calls should be going to voicemail.

troubleshooting:

Checked the call is getting terminated at Lync end & it is not integrated with any voicemail service, hence getting this error massage.

If the call is getting timed out or ignored from cisco phone it is going to voicemail.

Is there a way to retrieve Lync terminated call back on CUCM system.

I don't think that is something you can do. Once you can't perform call forwarding for call to remote destination.

Why don't you configure lync to forward calls to voice mail DN which should be routed to CUCM and over to unity.
