Can't change host name to IP

Hello,

I'm trying to change the CUCM host name to an IP address under System/Server, but when I click Save I get this error message -

"Update failed. [2010] DirectorySync service cannot be activated on Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Business Edition.". I tried searching google and the community for this error, but I couldn't find anything. Our CUCM version is 6.1.3.3000-1. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For 6.1.x versions there were numerous database notification issues, a couple of things can be tried here.

1) Restart of ccm service

2) Deactivate Dirsync service, chnage the hostname to IP and then reactivate Dirsync service
