Dear Expert,

I have a question.
My IP-Phone of Cisco 7821 cannot configure to modify ringtone setting.

I don't really know why, but My IP-Phone of C7821's application menu does not show the ringtone setting menu.
I checked configration on the all of my cucm setting.
But I could not confirm its configure.

Can you please teach me how to enable ringtone setting ?

Best regards,
takuro

 Hi Takuro,

Do you see preference option when you press application menu button on phone or the application setting button is not working at all?

Just confirm, on CUCM phone setting --> Setting Access is enabled or not.

Mr.SINGH

Thank you for your reply.
I confirmed on my CUCM phone setting.
But, It is checked "enable".
See attached photo "cap1.png".

I confirmed related configure as below:
 - Enterprise Phone Configuration
 - Common Phone Profiles

But Those setting are configured "Enabled".

Currently My IP-Phone's application menu is like this.
See attached photo "cap2.jpg".

Please, give me some advises.

Best regards,
takuro.

Hi Takuro,

The 7821 IP phone should get "Ringlist-wb.xml" file (name is case sensitive) from CUCM TFTP server to display ring tones. Could you check in CUCM --> Operating System --> Software upgrades --> TFTP file management --> search for "Ringlist-wb.xml" and confirm if it is available? if yes, you need to check through packet capture if the phone is able to get this file from the TFTP server.
