Cannot dial outbound calls through one FXO port while other FXOs dial normally

We have one Voice Gateway 2921 IOSVersion 15.0(1)M5  c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M5.bin.

All inbound and outbound calls are working perfectly but their is always one FXO port which does not work for outgoing calls.

I have configured trunk group on the required FXO  and assigned it to the required dial-peer.

All FXO ports are configured with PLAR and able to perform normally but we've been always blocked with FXO 0/3/1 which doesn't work for outbound call.

We're using 2 modules for FXO ports, each moduel has 4 FXOs.

We already changed the cables and moved the SIMBOX to another ports, and the suprising was that the SIMBOX work normally on the other FXOs.

Kindly assiste me to fix this issue in order to let FXO 0/31 dial outside.

I already attached the debug for a Fail and Successful call, they are almost identical.

This is the configuration of voice Gateway below  (contains only the essential parts) :

I've already used many voice ports parameters combination such supervisory disconnect, removing caller-id, timers, resetting DSP, etc............

What happens when you make a call out the port?  Do you have any debugs from it?  Does the SIMBOX not work on this port?  It could be a port problem.  I assume you also mean for that port to be the last one used for outbound calls as well, according to your config.

HI Steven,

I already attached the debug for successful and failure attempt.

First, we thought that it's a simbox issue but we moved the simbox to other port and work properly.

During the testing, I edited the dial-peer in order to match port 0/3/1 and collected the debugs.

What is the failing behavior you are seeing?  From the traces I see here, in both fail and success, the call was successful with audio cutthrough as well.

That's what surprises me also.

When dialing from this FXO port, we hear a busy signal and after 20 sec we hear a loud countinous beep.

I am not sure why you would be receiving this.  Is this only on a simulator box you have connected this to?  Have you tried an actual PSTN line or an FXS card connected to something else?  Not that you need it, but you might want to add the cptone command for the country this is supposed to be in.

Please connect an analog phone to the line coming from telco and see if you are able to dial out using that analog phone.

Or alternatively try swapping the working and non working FXO lines. See if the problem stays with the line or port.

Just to inform you that I'm working remotely and a team of two people are taking care of hardware.

I told them to use an analog phone on the same port with the same cable and try to call outside.

The result was successful and they are able to dial outside.

We already swapped  the working FXO with non working FXO but still the same result.

I'll try one cptone for this country (Congo DRC)   and I'll recheck step by step to eliminate the source of error.

I already did all possible combination of hardware and software changes but I'm going to follow the procedure step by step.

I'm working remotely and I was expecting such problem since I'm not on site.
