Got a weird one gurus. We have a call manager and unity at our headquarters and numerous remote sites running over mgcp. I have a problem at one of the locations. This remote site has a standard PRI connection to the pstn. When a call comes in and is routed to their personal greeting due to no answer they cannot hear the greeting. If you wait a moment and leave a message the message is actually recorded and the mwi comes on. Any ideas why one location would have this problem. We've poured over the configs and compared this problem site to others and can't find anything. Any help would be appreciated.
In my opinion it could possibly be related to region issue between your remote office and the region for where your Voicemail is located? Do you use G711 end to end or do you using transcoding for G.729 across your WAN? Incidentally is this on all remote phones with voicemail or a single device? Can you playback the greeting via the TUI? Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPad App
