cannot register cisco 8821 wireless phone on cucm 9.1.2

Hi,

We have loaded the cmterm-8821.11-0-3-6.cop.sgn file onto all cucm servers and restarted the TFTP services but still cannot add nor register a cisco 8821 wireless phone on the system, any ideas what we can do?

At what message is the phone stuck? Also, if you can't add it then you are missing the device pack.

no error message you just can't select the phone model to add nor does it auto register. wanted to get it going without affecting all other phone models as we have very old phones on the system still working on their current fw

Can you paste "show version active" from you CUCm server for confirmation.

Hi Hermanus,

You had installed phone's firmware file.

You need to install device pack (e.g. cmterm-devicepack9.1.2.16147-1.cop.sgn) on all CUCM nodes and restart the cluster after installation.
