CAR / HTTP Status 500 - Internal Server Error

Hi All,

I getting this message when I trying to login on the CAR page. I did a procedure of restart Cisco Tom Cat and also reset the server, but I still getting the issue.

CCM version 4.2(3)sr1

CAR version CAR 4.2(1.020.000)

If you receive the HTTP status 500 - Internal Server Error error message while you access the CAR reports, you need to restart the Cisco Tomcat Service from Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Services in order to resolve the issue.

Still you are getting error then this is bug CSCeg52386

CAR gives error on CCM as well (with IE)

CAR is not usable because DirUser can not locate certain jar files.

Do you have AD integration?

DCD?

Try to uninstall the plugin

Reboot

Install the plugin

Look, when I am doing re-install it is asking for put 'Please enter Private Password phrase for this cluster', is it the current windows password of the server o CCMadmin pass?

Hi Andres,

The private password is the password generated during install, you can always reset it by running Adminutility.

This will bring services down since ithey will be restarted so its recommended to do it after hours.
