Hello,
One of my customers have got a cluster of CCMs.
We have migrated them from version 6.X to 7.X.
There was an integration with OpenLdap.
We have modified the schema of OpenLdap to support integration (by using the document http://cucm-openldap.110mb.com/CUCM_OpenLDAP.pdf )
We used the connector Netscape / SunOS.
It works great.
For security reason, customers have updated version of OpenLdap. The file "allop.so" is not compatible with the new version of OpenLdap.
Since this upgrade, synchronisation between CCM and OpenLDAP doens't work.
It seems that CCM 7.1 support OpenLdap.
Questions :
What's happen about users if you change type of connector ? Are they deleted ?
What's about the association between users and phones ? What about the attributs ?
Another Question : if you change a integration between a LDAP and CCM, what's about the users on CCM ?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards.

Hi,
We have CUCM 8.5 with Openldap 2.x. The sync it is ok, but not all users in openldap OU, are sync to CUCM. There are about 1100 users in openldap and only 500 users syncd in the CUCM.
Do You know any issue associated to this deployment?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for sharing the document.
Is there any extra configuration in CUCM/CUXN side other than that we normally do to integrate with MS Active Directory.
Regards,
Mat

Hi Mathew,
The MS Active Directory configuration is relatively simple and all you shall need is the AD A.c with required permissions and the context.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, can you highlight the extra configuration in CUCM/CUXN side for OpenLDAP integration as the document does not tell much about it.

Mat
