CCM 9.1 Unrestricted Verison

I'm going to be installing CCM 9.1 in a new cluster in the UK.   Since it's US Export I was going to make sure that CCM is unrestricted.   Is there seperate media for CCM9.1 unrestrcited or do I just have to install 9.1 and then apply a patch to make it unrestrcited.   I can't find any part numbers for differernt media for CCM9.1 unrestricted so didn't ' know if anyone could assit.  Thanks   in advance

you cant go from restricted to unrestricted, not even with a patch.  So get the unrestricted media, or download it from CCO. (you can make the images bootable otherwise you will need to order them).

Thanks minkdennis for your reply.  Yes I know how to make a bootable ISO but techinally this is not supported by Cisco TAC. Besides this post, I don't know how Cisco TAC will know that I didn't use orginal media but I've heard that there is a way to tell.   Just saying.  Thanks.

Hi Scott,

For most of the countries excluding  (Sudan, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Iran) you can have restricted version. Depending on your location you may not need export license.

For UK you can have restricted version without need for any export license, see below links. I would recommend you install the normal restricted version.

Un-restricted version will have two drawbacks:

1)      Encryption will be turned off
